Print Application
After adapting my vector-based designs off of a scale mock-up I built from the measurements of a thrifted denim jacket, then nesting those designs into a 4' wide cut file, I was lucky enough to use my workplace's CNC kiss-cutter to print self-adhesive vinyl stencils which contract with heat once applied for a dependable paint seal. I then got to work with a friend, carefully hand-brushing the the different color fields with a heat-setting acrylic fabric medium. Considering all the delicate designs with opportunities for paint bleed, I think we were all ecstatic with the result.
